Blue morning, blue day

Tomorrow is Monday. I hate Mondays. I have to plan for the whole week and I’ve got a million and one things to do. I guess I should be happy since the alternative is doing nothing.

Still, after having another fantastic time with my daughter I don’t get to see her again until September 28 because of school events and other things that interfere.

I don’t mind it too much. She’s growing up and it’s fun to sit back and observe. She has a boyfriend who’s taking her to the big dance on Friday. I bought her new shoes for the event and she was over the moon about them.

She’s also decided she wants to be in better shape. She is in pretty good shape right now, but she’s been skipping rope, doing push-ups and sit-ups and she actually got me out to go run Saturday night. I’d have done better if we hadn’t just eaten supper, but I digress. I’m overjoyed she’s interested in running and doing the exercise thing.

Now excuse me while I go throw up.
