Apple iPhone 7 was unveiled this week and the rumors were true… no more headphone jack. Also, the camera is better, new AirPods wireless headphones are included, and it’s waterproof. There are a ton of other “features,” but it really isn’t any kind of game changer and to the average consumer it’s, dare I say it, boring.
The iPhone needs a major refresh. I know there are rumors of the next iPhone ditching the home button and being made completely out of gorilla glass with a fingerprint scanner under the screen. Personally, I’d like Android-like widgets, the ability to make third party apps the default, and a whole new UI. This concept caught my eye.
I certainly won’t be updating until at least 2017 for the iPhone 8, ApplePhone, or whatever they decide to call it. Maybe not even then.
