There’s no feeling like finishing a book, and I’m proud of this one. In A Promised Land, I try to provide an honest accounting of my presidency, the forces we grapple with as a nation, and how we can heal our divisions and make democracy work for everybody. pic.twitter.com/T1QSZVDvOm

Barack Obama announced his newest book, titled A Promised Land, will be available on November 17. He’s certainly hedging his bet having it come out two weeks after the presidential election. I wonder which of the two outcomes of the election would increase sales more?
A few details have snuck out. Apparently, it is 768 pages and is part one of a two-book deal covering his Presidency. The New York Times reports that A Promised Land covers Obama’s “early political life,” and most of the first half of his presidency, wrapping up with the assassination of Osama bin Laden in 2011.
